Wildrose Hair & Beauty was previously located at the Showgrounds Shopping Centre and in 2025 made the leap to move into a more comfortable and safer space. We are now conveniently located across from Cairns Central inside a newly renovated and gated community of shops where our clients have become more like family in a space allows us to better connect with each person that comes through our doors.
Wildrose Hair is going to celebrate their 6th year of business in 2025 and are happier than ever to be able to continue on with all your amazing support. While our Director has limited availability for new clients, our Apprentice is all too keen to take on new clients.

About: Jaimi previously owned and operated her own salon for 4 years in her hometown on the Tablelands, before taking a break for a few years to discover new things. She first came into the team as Manager and took the step to further her career once again by purchasing the salon. She has now owned Wildrose for 6 years and going strong! Her fun, bubbly and positive personality resonates through her work. With a keen eye for detail, Jaimi’s passion is in Blondes, Foiling and Extensions.

SKYLA

About: Skyla is currently in Year 11 while completing her Certificate III in Hairdressing as a school based Apprentice. Skyla started working her first part time job in the hair industry in Year 9, coming on as an Assistant for the Wildrose Team. With her keen eye for detail and willingness to learn, she decided to pursue a hairdressing career At school Skyla likes socializing and in her free time enjoys visiting the beach. In salon Skyla is quiet to those she doesn't know, but highly entertains Jaimi and her regular clients with her quick wit and humor. She has been an integral part of the team from day one and strives to help where she can each and everyday, going above and beyond.

Loves: Everyone who comes into the salon, cuddles, zoomies, playing with my toys, treats, giving grumpy faces, nap time, sliding across the tiles, walks, rubbing my face in the grass, putting random things in my mouth, talking back, showing off my tricks, collecting sticks on walks, digging, hanging my head out the window of the car, the beach, all dogs (especially big dogs), and trying every food my mum is eating.

Dislikes: The birds outside, my collar, when mum says no, when I think it's bedtime but it's not, plastic bags that move, my neighbors when they are noisy, when the waves are too big at the beach and when people tap on the windows but don't come in and say hi.
